NIA SSEN 0070 Near Real-time Data Access 2 (NeRDA 2)
The scope of NeRDA 2 is based on users and stakeholder feedback from the NeRDA project, NIA_SSEN_0050. As well as providing real-time data, NeRDA 2 will provide static data sets through the API, such as capacity and network configuration. more
NIA SSEN 0075 Alternative Jointing 2
This project will take the learnings from the previous Alternative Jointing project and further develop the foam alternative to the current resin and sand combination we use to fill joint shells. It will also develop a shrink wrap solution for LV straight joints, and continue to investigate any other opportunities to improve jointing techniques. more
NIA SSEN 0081 Pathfinder
Electricity demand is expected to rise by 50% by 2035, and this project will accelerate the development of modern substation design, protection and control standards by safely de‑risking LPIT and IEC 61850 technologies through laboratory trials, enabling lower‑cost, standardised, and more efficient 132 kV network construction for consumers. more
